Criminals in the real world are not like those that we see on CSI or other such shows. Instead they are 95% of the time like those that you will see on COPS. :)

As a policeman friend of mine is fond of saying:

They are a failure at crime for the same reason they are a failure at the rest of their lives. They're stupid and they're lazy.
