Does anyone know of any good radio stations I could listen to?
Not just music all the time but, like fun discussions or comedy or something?
Anything to remove the monotony of just working!!

Actually any stations that have real music, not chart 'music', would be appreciated too.

heart fm is good depending on your age

30-40 then this will take you way back to your school days

It seems to pick all the hits from early 70's onward even the chat is ok
but the music bril

Wogan in the morning BBC - should be up your street given the irish connection espically the Janet & John acts - priceless -if you can hold of disc and listen to them act these scenes out - very funny

The only radio station I listen to regularly is Xfm (http://www.xfm.co.uk/home.asp) no pop all indie/ rock and they have an X-list which is always plays classic songs (Smith/ Stone roses/ Charlatans/ Pixies etc) - very cool station :p

I am really hooked on Virgin Radio (http://www.virginradio.co.uk/). There are about 4 choices, including the Classic Rock Player.

For something a little lighter, I'd say BBC Radio 2 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/).

Sometimes I listen to theboneonline.com which is a local station here that plays classic rock. All music. I don't know of any stations that has comedy or anything, but I would LOVE to know of any that do!

wow my first thread has really taken off! proud me.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I'm trying them all out and enjoying the variety.
As Tess said, it would be cool to have a comedy radio station if anyone knows of one?

Keep 'em coming!

Of course, I interpreted your question as "what radio stations do you listen to online" since we are ALL over the globe here....

The only one I've tried so far was Meander Comedy Radio.
Kept me happy for quite a while!

Triple J (http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/) is good, it has a heavy youth bias and being non commercial it's not beholden to commercial demands so the play list is always new, and you don’t get all the golden oldies from the 60’s, 70’s 80’s etc.

One I frequently listen to is :

Although in Dutch ( text) , I would certainly recommend :
