Hi all,

The other day I installed a new porgram in XP.
Since than , I keep this message : recent installed programs , when I click the start button in windows. Although I have used the new program a couple of times, the message keeps popping up everytime I hit the start button and the program in the all programs/start list keeps being colored yellow.
What to do to get rid of this message and why does the yellow color not turn into the grey one like other programs.
Would appreciate any input.

Looks like the program might be buggy, to turn the notification off right click on start > properties. Click on customise > advanced tab and deselect check box saying "Highlight newly installed programs". :)

I really hate this and it's the first thing I turn off (as I re-install Windows regularly)
