I have attached a file that I hope better explains what I would like to acheive.

The user enters a from & to date and the cell in the adjacent range fills automatically. I am assuming that the easiest way is through conditional formatting but I cannot work out the formula and would be grateful for some assistance.

If you know how to use Fill and understand Absolute vs Relative Referencing, this should take you about 5 minutes to do the whole year.

You have to have actual dates in the heading to give Conditional Formatting something to compare to.
