Not sure if this is the right place for this question

But what I want to do is use the date value stored in a cell in an excel spreadsheet in an access query...I am not sure how to do this? I will then display the results of this query back in excel.

So from a user perspective, in excel, they can change the date, hit refresh and view the updated results.

Does this make sense?

Link to the Excel spreadsheet via the "File", "Get External Data" option.
Once linked, you can treat the excel just like any other Access table.
