I need to make a website where users can view/add articles in text format under categories. And if i am really lucky i would be able to let the user register for login and be able to create extra categories.

i.e categories

News
Nature
Space

i am new to databases & access.... but i have some moderate knowledge of dreamweaver.

There are many ways to do this, probably the easiest way is using a CMS system. There are many many types.

If you unfamilar with CMS its Content Management System...Google it and you find a lot.

thanks for ur help :) firstly i need to find out how to make a proper database in ACCESS. since i am very new. i dont even know how many tables i need. i am sorry if i am being a pain.

If you don't want to reinvent things, I could suggest using DotNetNuke for the creation of a website for doing this. However, I think it would need SQL Server or SQL Server Express for it. I have done almost the same thing before with my web host (Godaddy.com) and DotNetNuke (for our church).
