I know this is probably a very simple question but suprise suprise the help and manuals don't obviously state it!
Does anyone know the maximum number of fields allowed in a query?
Thanks

The help does tell you about it, but I guess sometimes it can be hard to find what you are looking for.
The max number of fields in a recordset of a query is 255, with a max of 32 tables.
Goto Microsoft Access Specifications in the help, you can see qry specifications from there.
