Haz 04-11-2007, 09:31 AM yup!! * POP3 Server: pop.mail.yahoo.com * SMTP server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com * User name: Your My Yahoo! ID * Password: Your My Yahoo! password Thanks for the info, I tried it in my outlook, I kept getting network login to the yahoo server. I already have another exchange server account in outlook. I dont think so this is the issue. Can you please help rainman89 04-11-2007, 09:39 AM http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011133141033.aspx straight from microsoft on how to add a new account Haz 04-11-2007, 11:03 AM Thanks for the info, I tested the account settings, can't login onto incoming server(pop3). I get the Network password window but is not taking my infromation. I guess maybe is due to our network security. rainman89 04-11-2007, 11:06 AM im not sure if yahoo is picky about this but i have ran into times when for the user id i had to use the WHOLE name username: yourname@yahoo.com instead of just username:yourname dont know if this depends on the version of access or not. Haz 04-12-2007, 03:26 AM Even if you put the whole email address in the user box, it still not working. I have tried it at home yesterday with outlook2003, is doing the same thing. carlnewboult 09-20-2007, 02:28 AM just to check have you logged onto yahoo mail and changed the setting to allow for pop3 clients to access your mail |
