There's a Favourites function down on the left there which it would appear I can use to group my queries, but when I dragged and dropped ... they are still sitting there in the main screen, and appear to be copies only (in the group)
This is probably a dumb question, but I'm up to my eyeballs in a long, long macro, and can't see the wood from the trees.

Any help ideas, guys/gals??

don't know about the favorites function...(using a97).

learned a trick from Pat H. that might be of help.

right click on your queries, select Properties and add a description field to your queries. you can the right click View, set it to Details and sort on the description...

Tks greatly, I'm adding a brief descript & that's helping, but I'm up round 100 queries and want to move them into groups. The Group option must be in my Access 2000 only.
Tks I'll take a look at that properties a bit further.

Make the descriptions start with a group name. Then you can sort the list by description instead of query name.

Tks Pat, actually my queries are in sort order already, e.g. ACT01, 02,etc. and it appears that the Main window can't be cleared, just copied by shortcuts to Groups.
