I am trying to create a database to handle points that people gain at school.
Currently when new points are gained you have to enter the new points *total*.
How can I change this so that you can enter *new* points and have the points totals be calculated?

I'm guessing I need to use an update query and I've tried to figure it out using these but i've not had any luck
Can anyone help?
