SQL_Hell 05-29-2007, 06:32 AM hey,
Anyone else on this forum play World of warcraft?
I do and I absolutely love it, call me a geek if you like I dont care :p :D
Newman 05-30-2007, 12:12 PM I don't have enough time to play, so it is not worth the money for me. So, I started to play Guild War, who does not have monthly fee. I think WOW looks better, but I am not going to pay each month not knowing if I'll have time for it. As for the game play, GW is fine. I didn't get to play WOW, so I cannot compare.
rainman89 05-30-2007, 12:14 PM Did play it. Then ran outta time. so i quit. was hardcore for awhile
KalelGmoon 05-31-2007, 05:46 AM Play GW, prefer the no monthly fee at first, but since then have gotten more into the game itself, it is not as "cartoonie" as WoW is. you also only have so many skills to work with so the strategy is there as well
TastyWheat 06-06-2007, 08:29 AM The trade skills are what I really love about the game (World of Warcraft). I think it adds a lot more depth to a character if they can make stuff rather than just kill stuff. The thing I hate most about it is their reliability. They have to take the server down for 8 hours to do maintenance and sometimes their updates cause more problems than they solve.
I used to play City of Heroes/Villains a lot and that was way more reliable, but the gameplay was pretty repetitive.

Dumbfounded 11-21-2007, 01:51 PM Yes I play it whenever I can and I love it. Lots of characters all at different levels - top character is a night elf hunter at level 60 on Khadgar.
Way to go warcrafters. I wonder when they'll add access programming to their list of trades - perhaps I'll improve my programming even more.
I play it too..
Got a lvl 70 char on Aggramar, and a lvl 57 palla also on it...
It's quite nice.. Also have alot of school mates playing on the same server. So its fun alright..
Im not geeky or stuff like that.. but i just like to play.. Although i do watch my social life ! :P
lilies34 12-15-2007, 12:44 AM i do! i do! my friends taught me how to play that a couple of months ago. until now, i still don't understand how to combine weapons. i keep on forgetting which ones to combine too! hehehe :D
tehNellie 06-03-2008, 07:34 AM Level 70 hunter and Level 68 resto druid on Hellscream EU.
I loves the raiding, our (pretty small) guild is just starting to progress past Kara, through ZA and onto the 25mans with another guild.
Say hello if you're passing through (or are looking for a guild for that matter).
georgedwilkinson 06-03-2008, 08:34 AM Hmmm...I just created 3 new toons on Hellscream, but not on the EU server.
I have toons in like 5 realms. Everytime I find a friend who plays, I create toons in their preferred realm so we can play.
Just made my first Shammy and think the early levels are easier than early levels with my other toons. The Shammy seems to be a good all around character.
I got hunters, priests, a paladin, a rogue, a warlock, and a ton of other stuff I don't keep up with. I have the most fun making money in the AH, which makes me wonder why I even bother playing sometimes.
Main toon is always called either Dorheroa (for Alliance) or Dorheroh (for Horde), if you ever see me in your realm.

I couldn't hear the audio cause I'm at work. But it looks like a Sims style game, where you "play" the "player". Not appealing to me (I like to pretend to beat on stuff, not pretend to pretend to beat on stuff).
Was that character they were showing Velma of Scoobie Doo fame?

I'll try again at home tonight (if I can spare a couple minutes from leveling my new toon).

OK, that was hilarious! I actually thought it was on the level without the sound.

i showed it to my daughter who is into WOW and she simply said "yeah WHATEVER!!!" .. i laughed all the way to the bank with that one...
but seriously, the Onion News Network takes the pi55 beautifully, i often quote their news like i used the Weekly World News, as being the true stories that people should listen to...they make far more sense and are closer to the truth..
so why not...i admit i play Dawn of war for an hour or so..i played GTA3 for months nee years but only got to 45% approx...why, because i like to explore the environment and simply play the game as a game...not take it seriously...our son has had so many angry moment because he can't play WOW as he's been rotten at school, because he wasn't playing xbox live so we cancelled the subscription...this thread was about having a rant about how much our kids pay no heed to the government warning about global warning envirnoment etc...[breath]...off now to play another skirmish on Winter assault..though soulstorm has the sisters of battle ... :D...sort of excitement i got watching Benny Hill as a youngster..
