Can this work.. The reason i ask is because [tbMstLog4rc] [tbMstLog5rc] are both Null in all entries but they keep returning the "false" string

Your syntax needs work.

qrBuk4: IIf(IsNull([tbMstLog4rc]) and IsNull([tbMstLog5rc]), Null,(NZ([tbMstLog4rc],0)+NZ([tbMstLog5rc],0)))
