How much would it cost to get a room replastered - as opposed to skimmed.
(The room has been skimmed but the underlying plaster has gone)

Say a box room 2m * 2m?

Anyone had this done recently?

Cheers in advance!

depends on how long it takes - not the size as much - a decent plaster will tell you his day rate - also do you need to take it back to the brickwork new plaster boards etc...
a plaster typically around 150 per day - but there are a lot of doggey one out there so take some care (Polish ones seem to do a better job)

Do you want smooth or rustic (lumpy) as my last attempt started out rustic, and involved a big sander - since th:rolleyes: en if i need plastering , I'll get a plaster in

Last time someone did it at my office, he had a vaccum-sander. That is great. I'd say that 95% of the dust is caught right away by the vaccum. Much less trouble to clean it all up after the work is done.

A good plasterer doesn't need a sander:cool: :p
