Tay 08-18-2007, 06:37 AM Salut Plymouth would certainly be a bit warmer than Newcastle, but they don't do the course we want.:rolleyes: In fact, very few universities do. We had considered Bath, but the course doesn't look particularly challenging, and it is a very expensive area to live. We'll both be doing GIS (Geographic Information Science), but can change to Surveying and Mapping Science after the first year, should we wish to. So, now, we have to learn calculus - we both managed to avoid that at school.:( Our French is pretty good now - we'll try and find some other French speaking students after we arrive oop north so that we don't forget all that we have learned.
