My Access 2007 reports suddenly started to take a LONG time to open. I thought it was something in the database I had changed (adding a table). I then suspected the computer and went through defrag, error checking, virus checking, etc.
Now I find it is just all reports, in all databases -- even the "SampleStudents.accdb" supplied by Microsoft. Everything else seems to work fine, tables, queries, and forms, all open in an instant. However, ANY form takes at least 20 seconds.

I suppose I can try reloading the program. However, I thought I would ask for ideas and experiences.

Looks like I am answering my own post -- again!

Okay it turns out to be an anti-virus program conflict. If I turn off the anti-virus checker, the reports open normally. However, I changed programs from AVG-Free to McAfee and the problem still exists. I did not have this problem a week or so ago. So, I am wondering if there may have been a Microsoft Office update that affected it -- or ??

Anyone know - or have an opinion?
