Okay so I need to input a barcode into my Reports. A barcode that when printed actually works. I have gotten the barcode font from a website called ID Automation.com. The link to placing the barcode is in the zip file with my database im using. I cannot get the control source to work for the barcode in the report. Any help would be greatly appreciated

It worked just fine for me *after* I installed the IDAutomationHC39M font on my system.

I did not touch your application other than installing the font. The preview and the print of the report look fine.

There is an easier way to put barcodes into Access now with the Native MS Access Barcode Generator (http://idautomation.com/access/native/) which is a VBA module that may be easily inserted into Microsoft Access databases to create bar code images on reports. Once installed in a database, no other fonts or components need to be installed to create barcodes; it is the complete barcode generator that stays with the database, even when distributed.

Yes but no offence to you or your company, but I believe in open source development and you should not charge people for a barcode or a font or other software that is used in programs that you have already paid for ie: Microsoft Office Products. But that is just my belief, I just went out and searched the internet left and right and found some open source barcodes that worked well, even better than some of these paid options. Just thought I'd put in my two cents. Hehe :]
