I have used the Access label wizard to produce A4 18 label sheets of address labels on Avery J8161 sheets. Only 15 labels are printed although the requisite space remains unused at the foot of each page. No data is lost, as the missing three labels are printed at the top of the next page. I had previously successfully prepared 14 label sheets, using the same wizard set to J8163. I seem to find no manual editing procedure capable of rectifying the 18 label problem!

Try changing the margins
If you mean change the margins in the page setup facility, then I have tried this withour success! If you refer to the individual label margins then I can confirm that these are correct, both in terms of the stored values and as implied by the margins of the 15 labels actually printed on each page.

It maybe that the physical depth of the Label + any space inbetween exceeds the area of the sheet and the report forces a new page after the 15th label.
I would put boxes around all your fields on the label and see how it looks. Lables are tricky because the Can Grow means additional lines maybe incorporated into your lable throwing the format out.
With labels I do it IBM them, it's better manually - laborious I admit.

Further experiments with the page settings revealed that reducing the top margin allows the sixth row of labels to be printed, whereas paradoxically trying to adjust the bottom margin does not seem to have much effect! Label printing is now pretty well in the right place but it would be nice to find a simple way of drifting the addresses a little away from the top and LH side of the label perimeter!

I always place the the First Field .05 ins from the top and all fields .05 ins from the left.

Thanks Simon. This seems to work but the bad news is that it needs each line in the label to be set individually to get the horizontal shift.

I'm not quite sure if I know what you mean?
I just setup the label and then assign:
Number of Columns
Row Spacing
Column Spacing
