Went to my oncologist Wednesday for 4-month testing. My lymphocyte count actually dropped 3 points!!! I have been sitting on pins and needles since May when my count jumped 30 points. We were all sure I would be starting chemotherapy this fall. My oncologist almost danced a jig in the exam room he was so happy. So, no chemo, next exam in January. :):):)

He still moans around to anyone who will listen, although he's mellowed out a tiny bit since he's retired now. Not much, but a little.

Did you miss him? Or the rest of us?:p

Great news Dennis by the way:)

Thanks Rich, and to everyone else. Strange it may be to some, but I was as excited about posting that news here as I was about telling the folks at work. :)

Despite our cultural differences, good news of this kind is welcome in any society.

As an ex NHS (Health Service) employee of nearly 40 years, I have seen many good and bad things people have to endure over the years - it certainly wakes one up to ones own life and priorities.

Keep up the good work.

Col, you hit another nail on the head. Despite our cultural differences Wouldn't it be nice if more people took that attitude. (esp the leaders of my country).
