Hi there

I am a novice user on Excel and wondered if someone could help?

Basically what I would like to be do is the following:

1) From the attached excel file work out how mnay people have each product, which is in Column B

2) From there, work out how much is each product, so for instance if there are a number of product X, how much is the sum total of these?

Please be aware that the spreadsheet attached is a tiny fraction of the records that I actually have!

Ideally what I want to do is display the figures on seperate worksheets.

Use Countif and Sumif, to do it on a separate worksheet read help regarding External references.
