I don't think its a sense of humour retirement more a sense of humour discernment. You (and I) have possibly reached the age when things have to funny before we laugh

As a scottish exile living in the south I feel it is only fair to point out that London receives the largest subsidy per head. I can assure you, Barry, that many scots are grateful for your contribution although they might not like to embarrass you by telling you that.

Only slightly more and Scotland is second, the North and South West i.e. areas with the lowest incomes are last!:mad:

At last a UK debate (shortlived but nevertheless worthy). And to put the record straight I don't have a problem with Scotland or the Scots but I would like to see them independent and self governing (and raising their own revenues) and then maybe we could have an English Government for England. Now should I upset the Welsh next?......and then there's Northern Ireland. So much to do - so little time;) :D
As for my location I've shortened it again , I wasn't aware it would stretch my posts laterally in the way it did.

For Each ctl In Forms("Locationform").Controls
With ctl
Select Case .ControlType
Case acTextBox
ctl.ControlSource = Replace & skew(ctl.ControlSource, _
"All the president and gentlemen bassists", "Residing in Stratford upon Avon")
End Select
End With
Next ctl
DoCmd.Close acForm, "Locationform", acSaveYes
End Sub ;)
