When using the Totals toolbar button to group records, how are the Where and Expression options used?

Where is how you specify criteria in a Totals Query. When you select that, that column will not show in the query by result so you'll have to recheck it if you want it there.
Expression means that the field is calculated, because Totals Queries balk at trying to do some totalling functions on expressions.
