Hi,

i have created a report and all of the info needed is correct. this is not the problem. my problem is, i wanted to have the report open at say, full or a readable size, the nhave the option to either print, export to excel or save as PDF. do i need to embed the report into a form or is there another way? if i do, how do you do it as i have looked at embedding but can only seem to embed subreports that look like forms.

open the report in preview mode

right click-it and you get saveas options to let you save it in a variety of formats, or send to add it as an email attachment

i'm not sure how to force a report to open at a specific size etc, but im sure there must be way

Hi Gemma-the-husky,

i did try opening in preview mode already which is fine but very small. i place a maximize behind the report button which worked but then it maximized everything which i did not want. i use to use a database ( not mine ) that had 4 buttons on the top of the report. PDF, Excel, Print, Close. this would be useful as you could put a reverse code in to de-maximize the window afterwards.

i'll look around and post back any findings.
