I't wont let me run a delete query on a linked table running from excel.
Idealy id like to delete the data on the Excel sheet after ive finished with it.

Has anyone found a way round this?

Is it possible to control excel through Access and clear the linked range in the background.

I've encountered the same problem with Access 97.
