Hi Guys. I Need your fantastic help again!

Attached is my access document. I have some reports - to show which student have what marks for their exams & coursework and to show which student does which module they are studying.

Could someone either build a seperate form for me with a way of typing in info and making it search the database for the info, or just add a search box to an exisiting form.

I have a terrible person teaching this and they have tried to show me using VBA code.

If someone could kindly look at this document, create a search box (i.e. for searching surname) and tell me what code you added in to visual studio - I'd be sooo very very appreciative.

Many thanks,

James

Thankyou VERY MUCH!

Any chance you could post what and how you did it? Just so I can explain it when I show other people . . .

Another question . . . how would you go about making a "pull-down menu to replace the Access menus" ?

Could you again show me on the file Adam has kindly added to?

Also, Adam, as you are obviously very good at this, could you please create Search facilities to find individual students or sets?

Thankyou so much for your help. I really do appreciate it, and has/will save me an awful lot of stress and time worrying about the fact I cant do it!

Another question . . . how would you go about making a "pull-down menu to replace the Access menus" ?I would assume that something like this would be incredibly difficult. And, you probably won't find a solution without hiring a programmer (if even then!).could you please create Search facilities to find individual students or sets? You are requiring services that take some thinking of a programmer. If you want your database customized, I would be glad to offer that service to you.

If you're looking to do something else, in a simple manner, that you require help with, please post specific questions on it. That is the best way to get the help you need here...
