How do you set the default folder attributes? Every time I create a new folder it groups emails and the reading pane is turned on, neither of which I want -

if you haven't figured this out already, try to get to the reading pane by the view menu. You can turn it on or off. you can also specify that annoying group option of the e-mail messages. but then again, I'm using 07. I'm guessing these choices will probably be under tools > options or something like that in 03 and earlier...
