Hi Guys,
I need your help. I have a Report/Subreport that I want want to reproduce in a Word template that looks the Report/Subreport. Let me explain. I have a query that has patients that have many transactions for each patient. I want to do a mailmerge so that each Word letter that I merge will show the many transactions on one letter for each patient. The transactions is basically a table with 3-4 columns that need to be lined up.
Right now when I try to merge into Word 2007 from Access 2007, I get a letter with each transaction in a separate letter. I want to get letter to a patient with all the transaction related to that patient in one letter for each patient. Example
Patient
Patient Addr
Greeting: Hi patient
Narrative
TransDate1 Trans1 TransDetail1
TransDate2 Trans2 TransDetail2
TransDate3 Trans3 TransDetail3

The transaction section of the letter is basically a table in the word document. All the colums need to line up.
Then I want to be able to batch the letters so that all the letters for the day print out. I know I can produce this as a report in Access, but I like the versatility of Word so that I can do custom editing on the spot to each letter if needed.
Any Ideas on how this Template can be made? I appreciate any help.
