how can i make a running balance in each row in continues form that will show the history of transactions?
ex.

date a/c particular db cr bal
---------------------------------------------
2/02/2000 100 Acct. Rec. 32.00 32.00
10/02/2000 100 Acct. Rec. 32.00 64.00
11/02/2000 100 Acct. Rec. (50.00) 14.00
15/02/2000 100 Acct. Rec. 60.00 74.00

just add together the fields. Example of a balance field control source: =[debit]+[credit])

make sure to use the actual names of the fields in place of [debit] and [credit]

im sorry http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/ubb/frown.gif, i did not elaborate well and miss the point. what i want to is that the previous record balance should be carried to the next record as the basis again for computing the debit and credit fields. actually the formulat should be something like this Balance = [PrevBal] - ([DEBIT]+ [CREDIT]). i just dont know how to do it in a continues form.
