i have started useing acess yesterday, database built and vba included however i am unsure about how to get the pasword manager to apear imediatly when the file is opend. can anyone help me please? thanks claire :ox

Hi,

It would appear that you are trying to run before you can walk. You need to create your DB first before implementing password/security options.

Until your database is ready for end user usage, I wouldn't worry about password/security aspects until then.

Once you've reached that point, there are plenty of experts in this forum that can provide assistance and advice.
