I'm trying set out page numbers in word 2007 for my dissertation but I'm having some problems, can anyone help please?

What I need is the first page (title page) to have no page number while the next few are numbered i, ii, iii, vi v etc, then the next section of my dissertation is number 1, 2, 3 etc.

Can anyone advise me on how to do this please?

This is probably a bit late for your dissertation Martin, sorry, but the answer is to use section breaks (next page section) just before you want to change the numbering. Also, make sure your headers and footers "same as previous" option is de selected, otherwise the page numbering will continue.
