I was messing around with the security of Access and accidentally made a default workgroup file. I now have to enter a password in ALL of my databases, even ones that I created before I enabled the workgroup file.

How do I get rid of it?

Re-run the workgroup administrator and re-join the "System.mdw" default workgroup. This file should be somewhere like your 'Application Data\Microsoft\Access' folder. You should open your database using a workgroup via a custom shortcut.

Thanks, that worked. The database I am creating is for a major class project and I was :eek: when I couldn't log onto any of the previous versions.
