I am wondering why the timeout time on this site is hummingbird short? Oftentimes before I have finished a short response to a thread I get timed out and have to log in to post the response.

That is the way is it used to be for me as well. Seems to be on this machine at home (not on a network). I have four other forums I keep open all the time ( dicks-blog.com; sqlteam.com/forums; javaranch.com; flopturnriver.com ) and never time out there. Just seems to be this site and a recent development. ( using IE7) :confused:

Yes I get cookies ;)

Maybe you'll need to check the Remember me box when you log in to this forum.
