Hi Guys,

I have two more newby questions. I am still fixing this database I've been given. We have this add-on called Total Access Analyzer which is makign various suggestions. I need help with two-

1.) Certain fields on certain tables apparently have UNICODE compression disabled. I want to enable it. How do I do that?

2.) It complains certain tables have too many primary keys. How can I identify the primary key on a given table?

Thanks Guys! Thanks for being patient with me!

Get the table into design view and put the cursor in the field in question. In the properties at the bottom you will see the Unicode compression setting.

With the table in design view, the fields that are keys have a little key icon next to them.

Thanks!

Again, I have another basic question. Currently my dattabase is set up to automatically look for, and include, the possibility of including subdatasheets, but I'm not actually sure if my database uses them. How can I tell if my DB uses any subdatasheets?

Thanks!

There's a nice performance FAQ here; the second one down deals with subdatasheets:
