I emailed the site owner (Jon) about it and when he was doing the fixes to get the database corruption that occurred out of there, he also installed the latest updates to the VBulletin software. Nice to have extra stuff once in a while! Thanks for the updates, fixes, repairs and all the rest Jon. http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/picture.php?albumid=1&pictureid=3 Mile-O 06-04-2008, 02:51 PM The best part, in my opinion, is the Tags (http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/tags.php). If people take the time to add tags to the posts they see, we should have a good reference point that doesn't just involve the tired old method of searching. I've had the new software installed on my forum for a couple of months now. If you want to see what it could look like - only with techy terms - then click here (http://www.worldliteratureforum.com/forum/tags.php). I suppose another interesting feature is the Social Groups option. Say people wanted to bandy together to work on, say, some Access plugins, well they could create a new Private Social Group and discuss/create away in there, off the forum. |
