I am only a beginner, I try to put a default value in a form field,when an user click at ADD RECORD, display a number of a field as "Max+1". But it is not working. Can anyone please help me on this?

You have to give Access more information - Max of what???? it could be anything that appears on your form.
Have a look in the help under DMax!
