Hello!
I am fairly new to MS Access and need a bit of help creating a query. In the attached image you can see the three tables I have setup (I've also entered some dummy data for practice). The end result of this database is to enter in electrical cable and raceway (i.e. conduits) information and determine how long each feeder will be.
In the top table (Cable Routing) I have "routed" two cables (essentially I have selected which raceways a particular cable passes through). The third table shows the length of a particular raceway.
I would like to be able to sum the lengths of all raceways a particular cable passes through using a query (or some Access function that would suit this application).
If anyone could provide any help I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
