I want to insert .jpg's of employees onto a form, one form with several tabs. Inserting this OLE object is where i have problems, when i insert onto the field in the database table, it defaults back as 'Package', and when I run it displays the icon on the form (the "display as icon button" is not checked).
If anyone could help me on this i would greatly appreciate it.

I created your problem on my PC by deleting the registration of Microsoft Photo Editor as the default program to open JPGs. It was working ok before. Even though I got other programs set up to open JPGs, and they displayed them OK, Access still showed icons only. I re-installed MS Photo Editor (it's on the Office 2000 Pro CD), and it worked again. So I think you may need a program registered for JPGs that will not only display, but also edit JPGs (OLE server).
