I have an important question.Please help. I have tried to look for the answer on so many places but could not found. My question is ' Can we develop an accounting program in MSAccess which has double entry accounting system?

Please help......

Yes, one of our regular forum members has done it. This topic comes up every month or so on these forums.

This is not a trivial thing, in any development environment.

One thing to remember is to do a good financial assessment on this. It may be better to buy a package rather than create it. Let's say you have a really good developer who can put this out in a month of full-time work (if that), and they make $20 per hour (likely more) and so the total for that one month would be:

160 hours * 20 = $3,200

So your system just cost you AT LEAST $3,200 (not counting benefits). Now, two months is more likely so $6,400 for an accounting system. I can think of several which could beat that.
