Morning All,

I am just wondering if it is possible to sort of superimpose text over already populated cells?.

ie

if all 25 cells within range A1:E5 have been populated and formated is it possible to select all 25 cells and write a word (ie N/A) in a shaded text over the top so you can see both??.

You can draw an autoshape say a rectangle over the cells and with judicious use of fill, shading and transparency, then add text, maybe achieve what you want.
