I have recently made two new simple databases, each with a form based on one table like Members. I used the Combo box wizard to put a combo box on the form to select the record wanted.

One combo box is blank even thought the form shows a record. Click on the box and choose the record wanted, etc and the form then shows the chosen record and the combo box returns to blank. (I LIKE THIS but I can’t get it to work this way on my other combo boxes in my other databases). I have checked every property, code, etc to see what was different and nothing found.

Any ideas on how to get a blank combo box except when choosing a record?
