The attached DB is extracting embedded Word docs and putting them in a folder as Word.doc. The field on the form MyOle can't be seen as it has been given zero height etc.

When the attached DB is run it will sometimes do one record or it might do 6 or 7 and then lock up and then out come Control Alt Delete:D. The LDB file remains in the folder. Sometimes it will get through the whole set of records, which is normally 24 but I have reduced them so the attachment would fit.

The DB runs like clockwork on 3 different computers that have XP and the problem child has Vista, purhcased about a month ago with Dell.

The DB is a stand alone, no linking. I have even tried unplugging the Dell from the network. The problem appears to be worse when the DB is compacted so I removed Compact on Close.

I have two other ways (that is two other DBs) that will run what is required but this is one is the best, except for locking up on the Dell/Vista.

Any ideas or help before I pull out all my hair.
