In my previous dealings with access, whenever I have amended a table, ie added an input mask, the form I have previously created based on that table does not recognise the new change.

How do I get the form to recognise the changes without having to create a new form?

I hope I have made myself clear!!

An easy way to do this is to select the updated field in the field list which is situated in the forms design view, then drag the required updated field onto the form.

Before deleting the old field check that the updated field now works, then just delete your old field.

Hopefully, it should work.
