I have designed 1 form to extract certain fields from db. Now would like to make more look the same, but with different set of fields. Can I replicate the form design without manually recreating it every time?

You can just copy and paste the form (highlight it in the 'forms' view, press <Ctrl>C and <Ctrl>V and type the new form's name. You'll have to change all of the properties manually (including the Form Name Property) to suit the new purpose of course.

Maybe Im misunderstanding your question, but it sounds like you could save the form design as a style and this would be helpful for the form design aspects
