He will never live that down. ColinEssex 10-16-2008, 01:15 PM Yes but Sarah like to kill things, so she's maybe got 50% of the US vote on that score alone. Col Alisa 10-16-2008, 01:21 PM Yes but Sarah like to kill things, so she's maybe got 50% of the US vote on that score alone. I think it ranks about 56th, lagging behind Mongolia. Col KenHigg 10-16-2008, 01:45 PM What are you talking about? Does this number mean anything: 1,000,000,000 ??? Alisa 10-16-2008, 01:49 PM Does this number mean anything: 1,000,000,000 ??? I think it means 1 billion??? Not sure what that has to do with hoodwinking, China, or the election though. KenHigg 10-16-2008, 01:54 PM Ok... The vote link says the pres of the US is the most powerful man in the world. It's my opinion that a dictator with a billion people to rule may be a bit more powerful :) Banana 10-16-2008, 01:55 PM This site has been up for much longer and listed all candidates from primary. (http://www.whowouldtheworldelect.com/index.php?candidates=all) I would like to direct attention to the fact that even though there is only Obama or McCain on the front page, Paul managed to get 68,000+ votes while Obama only had 23,000+ votes. And Paul got more votes from Iraq than Obama did, 17 votes to 5 votes. Something for thought. :) Alisa 10-16-2008, 01:59 PM This site has been up for much longer and listed all candidates from primary. Yet in the biggest selling paper in Sydney a poll for Australians has 58% for McCain. This newspaper is a Murdoch paper and would be seen as a lower grade paper and with lots of blue collar workers as readers. Although this was a phone poll conducted by the paper. I would imagine that internet users have a very high percentage of younger trendy type people......for example, all the lower case typing and funny spelling:D As a side note when did "x" replaces "s" as in thankx, girlx and boyx etc. Rich 10-16-2008, 09:38 PM Ok... Rabbie 10-17-2008, 01:21 AM As a side note when did "x" replaces "s" as in thankx, girlx and boyx etc. Don't let Colin know. It might trigger off anothe heart attack:D KenHigg 10-17-2008, 02:29 AM In my opinion the site is a farce. What are the chances the people from all of these countries have been to this obscure site? chergh 10-17-2008, 04:52 AM Pretty good, the numbers look quite believable especially how the republicans are more popular in former eastern bloc countries. America is still the most powerful country in the world, population alone isn't enough GDP, military strength, how developed the economy is etc. all have to be factored in. China and India are both becoming much stronger, I believe India is likely to overtake China in terms of population in the not to distant future, but while parts of these countries are highly developed other parts are not. KenHigg 10-17-2008, 05:16 AM Pretty good, the numbers look quite believable especially how the republicans are more popular in former eastern bloc countries. Of course they seed it where it looks believable because it gives the site instant credibility  Again, how did they get the word out across the globe to come vote in their cheesy little scam... fyi: I myself have voted multiple times  So why do you think these people even care? To sway Americans to vote they way the rest of the world would vote? Sounds like the dems have a shady site designed to think the world is on their side... ;) MSAccessRookie 10-17-2008, 05:28 AM Think about what you just said. We only get the last 2 weeks of Nov in Mich for guns. Bow season is a lot longer, but I don't have the patience for that. Yeah, it was muzzle loader for the last week and I went once. Then it's been bow season for about 4 weeks now. I don't bow hunt anymore. I'm getting too feeble to pull an arrow back for too long so I'm thinking of crossbow next year - :) ColinEssex 10-17-2008, 01:10 PM Redneckgeek - Your signature seems to indicate that if you set fire to a man he will be warm for the rest of his life - which will be about 10 mins. A bit sick isn't it? Or is setting fire to people normal for your area? Build a man a fire and you'll warm him for a day. Set a man afire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. Thanks for the feedback, though.;) So the possibility of setting fire to people amuses you? I used to work in a hospital where they had a big burns unit. Ever seen a little child with 80% burns crying out in agony? You should try it, it's a great source of amusement and a really good laugh. Col |
