hi

am i right in thinking that i need to open my "hello world" asp page on a folder on the webserver and i can't just open it from a bog-standard network drive?

tried opening it...but no "hello world"

edit: aaah, you can view the results in Visual Studio Web Developer without deploying to server

Well you can run Hello world ! in asp only when .asp is enabled which is always enabled on server side for the domain, it can not be accessible on your network drive
