Anybody played it yet? I'm curious to how it turned out. Success or no?

I heard you can use the enemy as a human shield.

I was giddy when I heard that, it was the only thing I thought the first one was missing.

I am hoping to get some action on it next week with a nephew.

Seriously though, Master Chief, don't you know that Halo 3 is the only game and all the rest are crap?

Haha that sounds awesome. I'm always just curious how (and doubtful if) a sequel to a good game will manage to outdo the original, but a meat-shield sounds promising.:o

I've been playing Left 4 Dead the past couple of days with friends. That's a game that can keep your heart racing. It's rather monotonous if you think about it, but when played, it's very entertaining. Especially when you close the door to a safe room right before your friend makes it in and all the zombies swarm him . It's managed to entertain me for hours after work so far and I'm sure it will continue to do so.

Oh Left 4 Dead has been eating up much of my time lately as well.

I'm loving finding ways to pounce as a hunter for 25 damage. I've found a couple good ones. Playing as infected, so much depends on the boomer knowing what to do, it can be frustrating.

But yes, I've also left many a player for dead.

Yea we've just started working on the Versus mode achievements. Coordinated attacks are the only way to go and I can't stand playing with random people for Versus. I play with friends of mine and we're all in my Vent server so we can dominate.

Right now we're struggling with the no friendly fire and avoid boomer bile achievements. It seems like no matter how far we get, we always fail those at or near the finale. So frustrating!

My son (thirteen and a half) got an xbox and Gears of War 2 about two months ago. We rarely see him anymore. He got the headset too for party games (or whatever they're called) and he sits there for hours. Seriously, I do practicallyhave to drag him outdoors at weekends now. It's becoming obsessive.

Unexpected bonus though: he loves playing with his cousin in Ireland and every now and again I'll go to his room, take his headset off, ask my nephew to go and get his mum and my sister and I will have a chat. Saves on phone bills.
