after i tried to open a form using docmd.openform and docmd.applfilter , the filter did not work as expected ,so i deleted the module. following that, the form could not be opened again when i clicked on it. i tried to create another form and added a command button to open this form but it could not open too. i noticed that when i used the wizard to create the command button, it did not prompt me about displaying all the fields or filtering by matching fields. could i have deleted a module related to the form ?

You can try going into Windows Explorer and holding down shift while you push enter. That function allows you to bypass what you may have done. If your form has a password, then open the form like normal and after you enter your password in, before you push enter, push shift and enter together. This hould allow you to go in and fix whatever you may have done. I hope this helps.
