I recently posted a question on how to carry a record forward. I was directed to Q136127 which worked great for copying the previous record. However, is there a way to copy a record based on a keyin (or selection)?

We have a database where we track employee job assignments. Many times, an employees' duties are the same as the previous days. Therefore, what I want is when I select an employee, I want the form/record to return the most current (usually the previous day) assignments. Any ideas?

I have a copy of the database I can send you to show you what I have in mind.
