Has anybody ever created a field to hold a product breakdown number.
e.g. 1.1.1.1 or 2.2.12.12

I need to create a field that will allow a user to enter product breakdowns to five levels:nn.nn.nn.nn.nn

I also need this field to be no duplicates for the project they are entering the information for BUT they can use the same number once only for other projects.

If anyone has developed Project Management Databases I would love to share my views and developments. I am looking to integrate both ways sections of my database with MS Project, so once again any help in that area would be much appreciated.
