How do I attach a calender control to a combo box, so that the selected date will fill the combo box field?

I have seen this done a lot but don't know how to do it. I am using MS Access 2000 and Calender Control 9.0 does not appear to serve my needs.

What is it that Calendar Control win't do for you and a simple Combobox with dates will?
