I've been working with Access for 2 years now and have created several professional reports using it. However, one thing I stumbled across today that I do not know how to do on the new 2007 Access is moving one control within a report without moving the corresponding control.

In the old Access I could freely move the page header or the details around within design view. But in Access 2007, they seem to move around together. I need to be able to re-size and move the page headers separate from the report details so that I can fit everything onto one page.

Does anyone know how to detach them?

That can be annoying. IIRC, highlight the controls, right-click and select Layout/Remove.

No problem, and welcome to the site by the way. That new "feature" drove me crazy until I figured out how to detach them.
